Low deposit

Ideal for those 'opting-out' of company car schemes

Straight Talking - Plain Dealing

Personal Contract Hire

If you ever despaired about unexpected car bills, depreciation and MOT’s this may be the answer for you. It is also becoming increasingly popular with individuals who are ‘opting-out’ of their company car schemes. Essentially you enter a hire agreement with a fixed monthly instalment, a given contract end date and a mileage covered allowance.

At the end of the contract the car is returned and for a further small deposit you commence another agreement with a new car.

Although terms of 24-60 moths are available we prefer 24 month contract  because we believe they offer you the best value for money.

 Why best value for money:

  • When using our low mileage Channel Island cars the initial saving is passed onto you and shows in a greatly reduced monthly outgoing
  • Low initial deposit
  • You replace with a new model more frequently – you don’t get bored!
  • Maintenance can be built in to give fixed cost motoring
  • Road tax included
  • You avoid the MOT
  • No fears of negative equity or outstanding finance
  • More tax efficient than PERSONAL CONTRACT PURCHASE if the vehicle is used partly for work

 Personal Contract Purchase

This method of acquiring a vehicle is like PERSONAL CONTRACT HIRE in many ways such as term, mileage etc. However where it does differ is that you, the customer, has more options at the end of the agreement in that you can:

  • return the vehicle
  • pay a predetermined balloon payment and keep the car or sell it on.

Once again it gives the advantage of a low initial outlay, though it is not as tax efficient as PERSONAL CONTRACT HIRE and will usually prove more expensive.

In both cases VAT is not reclaimable on the monthly premiums to personal users.
